In a slate loudspeaker cabinet, only the loudspeaker baffle vibrates and not the enclosure. Although a number of manufacturers have claimed to have vibration-free casings, it first becomes clear how important this aspect can be, once your eyes, or better ears, have feasted on the products of Fischer & Fischer.
A note about the model designations. SN is for a natural slate finish. The photos show this finish. SL denotes a laquered finish. The surface is smoothed and polished, then almost any color enamel can be applied to your taste.
